MK (Ichud HaLeumi) Yaakov Katz and Naftali Bennett, the Bayit HaYehudi hopeful, signed an agreement to run under a joint slate in the next Knesset elections.
The agreement stipulates that if Bennett is successful in his Bayit HaYehudi leadership bid, the parties will run under a joint list in the hope of earning additional mandates in the next Knesset. Bennett hopes to replace the current Bayit HaYehudi leader, Minister of Science Rabbi Dr. Daniel Hershkowitz. The agreement will result in total cooperation, on all levels, including a joint election campaign and office.
If the agreement is actualized, the joint party leaders will decide on the order of the Knesset list.
