Education Minister Gideon Saar on Sunday signed the necessary paperwork to permit ministry funding to be passed to mosdos ahead of Rosh Hashanah. The delay is the result of the abolition of the Tal Law, which resulted in the elimination of the legal framework under which the yeshivos received funds in the past.

The ministry formulated new guidelines, which have been approved by the Ministry of Justice, permitting the transfer of national government funds.
