When a Bnei Brak rov asked HaGaon HaRav Chaim Kanievsky Shlita about reciting the bracha ברוך שחלק מחכמתו ליראיו today following the petira of HaGaon HaRav Elyashiv ZT”L, he was instructed to recite the bracha for Rav Shteinman, with שם ומלכות.

It was known that Rav Kanievsky recited the bracha for Rav Elyashiv, his late father-in-law, and it appears the rov wished to know if the bracha is still recited today, following the petira of the gadol hador.

The report states that he explained the bracha may be recited for more than one person in a lifetime.
