Officials in Ben-Gurion International Airport do not feel that the ticket controversy among Breslov chassidim will have a major impact in the number of travelers to Uman for Rosh Hashanah.
Airport officials are preparing for 20,000 chassidim who will travel to Uman on one of 130 flights between September 11-16, 2012. The highest travel volume day will be September 13th, with 8,000 travelers scheduled to fly on one of 48 flights.
Travelers to Uman are urged to arrive at the airport four hours ahead of departure time. Many of the travelers usually arrive without all of the necessary documents officials explain, some even forgetting to bring passports.
A special area in the airport is being designated for the Uman flights to provide adequate security and maintain order. There are also special areas designated for tefilos, glatt food and other needs of the Uman travelers.

Men should be staying at home for Rosh Hashanah, and contribute to the atmosphere of Yamim Noraim and Yom Tov to their wives and children. That is the mitzvah, not running to a grave in Ukraine and leaving their families alone.
