Yisroel Wallis Recommended for Early Release from Prison

Yisrael Wallis, who was in 2008 was sent to prison for six years after being convicted in the death of his infant son, will be released early. Wallis, who was 21 when he entered prison, was found guilty of shaking his 3-month-old child to death two years earlier, after being left home alone with the infant and unable to cope with the child’s crying.

The prison parole board decided to wipe one-third from his sentence, as is the norm, because of his good behavior during the four years imprisonment.

Wallis is expected to be released next week, ahead of Rosh Hashanah.

  1. It is a good thing he only killed a child, his child, and not raped his secretary, like Katzov, who will spend more time in prison.

Lesson: if you are going to commit a crime, don’t steal money like Madoff and don’t rape, like Katzov, murder comes with a lighter sentence….

  2. What a vile comment in ellul, in preperation for rosh hashonah..
This young father didn’t “murder” his child, he loved his child and was devestated by what happened, this kid was found dead in the crib while sleeping, the authorities ‘decided’ that the baby died because he rocked – shook the crying baby, and that was the cause of death. Chill off lazer & get some serious mussar for the holy days before soiling your mouth with hotzo’as shem rah on a fellow yid.
