There was a fire in the Vishnitz Shul in the Brechfeld area of Modi’in Illit on Tuesday 3 Elul 5772. The shul is located in a caravan structure. Passersby noticed the smoke and acted immediately to safe the Sifrei Torah.
Firefighters were quick in bringing the blaze under control but there was damage from the fire as well as the water from the firefighting efforts. Baruch Hashem there were no injuries reported.

Could someone please proofread the articles being put on YWN? It looks back – I won’t comment on the Vishnitz, but I think it should be “save” the Sifrei Torah, and the town is better spelled Brachfeld since it sounds like someone wants to throw up if it’s with an e.
