NYPD is looking for a man who has been robbing people at gunpoint on the subway. All of the robberies have happened in the daytime.
The first incident occurred on Aug. 1 on a Queens-bound A train. Police say the suspect went up to a 21-year-old man, showed a gun and robbed him. The man got off of the train at the 80 Street station in Ozone Park.
The second occurred at 10:27 a.m. on Aug. 15 on a Brooklyn-bound A train. In this robbery, the man showed his gun to a 27-year-old woman. He also got off of the train at the 80 Street station after the robbery.
The latest attack was at 8:17 a.m. on Sunday on a Queens-bound A train. The suspect approached a 19-year-old woman at gunpoint and demanded her property. The victim complied, and the suspect got off of the train at the Shepherd Avenue station in East New York.
The man is described as a black man about 20-25 years old and 5’10” – 6′ tall.
