It’s Rosh Chodesh Elul, marking the end of bein hazmanim and the return of 150,000 talmidim and avreichim to Batei Midrashim around Eretz Yisrael. 28,000 talmidim are registered in yeshiva ketana, 52,000 yeshiva gedola and 70,000 avreichim in kollelim around the nation.
It will be interesting to see what occurs as IDF military police during bein hazmanim increased efforts to apprehend those avreichim listed as absent without official leave. Now that talmidim and avreichim are back in beis medrash, it will be easier to locate them and there is no doubt that an effort will be make to draft many of those appearing on Defense Ministry lists for induction into the IDF since the Tal Law is no longer applicable.

Time to reestablish some type of Tal Law.
And now that they and their families have gone home I was able to get a seat on the bus on my way home from work tonight.
If Haifa isn’t a good enough city to live in, why does everyone have to come here bein hazmanim?
You do understand that to those who control Eretz Yisrael, this (rather than the Iranians) is the existential threat.
