As reported earlier on YWN, Shuvu Banim community head Rabbi Eliezer Berland was granted release from house arrest, and was thought to have been given the green light to travel to Uman for Rosh Hashanah at the tziyun of Rav Nachman ZT”L.
Rabbi Berland was reportedly heading to board a private jet on Monday night when authorities stopped him.
According to a report by Bichadrei Chareidim, a court has delayed the earlier decision of the Prisons Services parole board. A judge will decide on Tuesday if Rabbi Berland will indeed be allowed to leave the country for Rosh Hashanah.

Who didnt see this coming?
Israelis are NOT as stupid as u think they are.
Can’t they permanently get rid of this great hillul hashem once and for all?!
That’s what happens when there is PR
why did they have to make publicity that berland is going to uman?
he should have just gone quietly like everybody else
Just when you thought we had heard the last of this convicted felon, the circus comes back to town. Why would the government want him travelling to Uman with his “posse”….enough problems already
Perhaps he should ask Putin for permission first.
YWN _ update please. Was he allowed to leave on Tuesday or not?
