A women assaulted a male in the Giron Mall in Ashkelon on Tuesday with pepper spray. It appears the pepper spray was pulled into the ventilation system and many shoppers began feeling eye and throat irritation. This forced the closure of the shopping center for an hour until the affect of the spray dissipated.
Two saleswomen got into a heated argument and one phoned her husband who responded to the call for assistance. Her colleague, with whom she was arguing, realized she should defend herself and ran to store and bought pepper spray, which she used against the husband upon his arrival.
Four shoppers were transported to a local hospital due to the effects of the offensive aerosol.

“A women”? Really?
That’s not even the only poor language in the article. First, the genders in English are paired – men/women, male/female. The beginning of the first sentence should really read “A woman assaulted a man…” or “A female assaulted a male….”
Second, there’s a difference between the word “effect” and the word “affect.” There’s no need to go into it at length, but the end of the first paragraph should read “… for an hour until the effect of the spray….”
sounds nutty, like normal life here in Israel. why nut?
