Kedumim resident Chaim Horon, in his 40s, was injured by shrapnel during the night as a result of gunfire directed at his car near Yitzhar. The victim, who sustained light injuries, was traveling from the direction of Chawarah towards Kedumim accompanied by a friend when shots rang out near the Arab community of Burin, south of Shechem.

B’chasdei Hashem there were no fatalities or serious injuries as a number of gunshots struck the vehicle. The victim was transported to Beilinson Hospital in Petach Tikvah.

The victim told authorities that he saw a male open fire in his direction.
