The Free Syrian Army rebel force reports that Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad has moved stockpiles of chemical weapons towards borders and airports, apparently to facilitate accessing them in the event of the decision to deploy such weaponry.
Ynet reports the decision to move the weapons was made to enable mixing chemical components towards sending a clear message to the international community to back off. While senior Israeli intelligence and defense officials are monitoring events with growing concern, FSA officials in their statement added they do not see moving the chemical weaponry components as preparation for an attack against Israel since Syria has not fired over the border at Israel for decades.

Then above does not entirely fit with this from ywn news page “Two mortar shells fired from Syria on
Monday afternoon landed in the
demilitarized zone between Syria and Israel in the northern Golan Heights.”
