Air Force Working to Bring Attack Survivors Home


Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon told Israel Radio n Thursday morning, 29 Tammuz 5772 the IAF and Bulgarian government are working to have all the victims capable of being transported and survivors of the Bulgaria terror attack back home in Israel by Thursday night.

The first flight of survivors arrived in Tel Aviv during the early afternoon hours. Two additional air force planes are standing by along with a third plane that was placed at Israel’s disposal by the Bulgarian government.

Ayalon stated that cooperation with Bulgarian officials was simply “outstanding”, using the Israel Radio interview as an opportunity to thank officials in that country.

Ayalon advises all Israelis to check the Foreign Ministry and Counterterrorism Bureau websites for travel advisors pertaining to their intended destination.
