Egyptian media sources report that Hamas terrorists in Gaza successfully test fired a rocket into Sinai about two weeks ago. The rocket fired from the Rafiach area was described as a long-range rocket.

The Egyptian media reports called the launch a success, stating the rocket impacted tens of kilometers from the Rafiach border to Egypt deep into Sinai. The missile was reportedly manufactured in Gaza, apparently from technology achieved by dismantling similar rockets smuggled into Gaza from Libya after the collapse of the Kaddafi’ regime.
