AM Update from Southern Israel (UPDATED 08:45 IL)


The air force during the night struck terror targets in Gaza in retaliation for the over 60 rockets that struck southern Israel on Tuesday, 29 Sivan 5772.

In the most serious attack on Tuesday, a Grad katyusha rocket struck a building in a border police base in the Lachish district leaving 11 soldiers injured, 10 in light condition and 1 moderate. They were all transported to Barzilai Hospital in AShlekon.

At least 12 rockets were fired into southern Israel during the early morning hours today, Wednesday, 30 Sivan. There are no reports of injuries.

07:19: A Grad rocket landed in an open area in the Beersheva district. No injuries.

08:35: 3 rockets land in a kibbutz in the Gaza border area. No injuries.

08:45: A rocket landed in an open area in the western Negev. No injuries.
