After an exciting campaign and a climatic final week filled with an abundance of last-minute ticket purchases, Chevrah Lomdei Mishnah was thrilled to proceed with the drawing of its first annual Torah Study raffle. Held on erev Shavuos, this drawing was symbolic of the Torah that all of klal Yisroel received on the yom tov of Shavuos. Knowing that the winners of this raffle would receive such heilege prizes, the learning of large amounts of Torah in their zechus, made this drawing even more meaningful and exhilarating than an ordinary raffle drawing.
At exactly 12:00 p.m., Chevrah Lomdei Mishnah closed their ticket office and held their breath as the winners were drawn. A big mazel tov goes to Grand Prize winner, Rabbi Yisroel Tenenbaum of Lakewood, NJ, as well as First Prize winner, Mrs. Chaya Goldenberg of Far Rockaway, NY and Second Prize winner, Mr. Alex Rauzman of Flushing, NY!
Chevrah Lomdei Mishnah would like to extend a hearty thank you to all of its raffle participants. Your support is invaluable and your enthusiasm towards the raffle and towards Chevrah Lomdei Mishnah is truly appreciated and admired. Without you, none of this would be possible. We look forward to hearing from you throughout the year and at next year’s raffle, b’ezras Hashem!
