According to Gaza terror sources, the Israel Air Force retaliated after the fatal border incident on erev shabbos which claimed the life of Golani Brigade Staff-Sergeant Netanel Moshiashvili HY”D, 21, from Ashkelon.
A number of targeted strikes were reported, including weapons smuggling tunnels. Hamas sources reported a number of injured, including children.
IDF sources report that the terrorist responsible for the soldier’s death was eliminated, and he was carrying an AK-47 assault rifle along with hand grenades and explosives. Officials believe he was heading to carry out an attack in one of the Gaza border communities.
