12:00PM Wednesday: Once again, Firefighters and utility workers are in Borough Park where multiple manhole fires are being reported, and possibly some transformers are on fire. Emergency personnel are currently on the scene at 14 Avenue and 50th Street. Firefighters are checking nearby buildings for carbon monoxide. Con Ed says there are “minimal outages.”
MyFoxNY reports that at least one school has been evacuated.

the same thing happened yesterday on 39 th street and 14 th ave. say what you want , however the infrastructure here in boro park is at least ninety years old.
