A 35-year-old avreich was seriously injured on Wednesday, while traveling to Beit Shemesh during the morning hours. The accident, which only involved his vehicle, occurred on the road from Maarat HaNetifim. Police accident investigators indicate the driver lost control and skidded for reasons that have not yet been determined. The victim was treated by United Hatzalah EMS personnel and transported in a paramedic ambulance to the trauma unit of Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital.

UH EMT Yitzchak Levinger of Beit Shemesh was first on the scene and provided initial care until additional units and paramedics arrived.
