An avreich who was accompanied by his two small children on their way back from Kever Shimon HaTzaddik in Yerushalayim were attacked by an Arab male in what appears to have been a hate attack. The attacker managed to bring the avreich down to the ground. “I called for help and an Arab man came to the scene and stopped the attacker from hitting me” the victim explained. A driver who was passing by realized what was taking place and he began honking his horn, scaring the attacker away.

The victim explains his primary concern was not for his own safety, but for that of the twins in the stroller.

The avreich was injured lightly. Police are still seeking to apprehend the perpetrator.
