Eida Chareidis Gavaad HaGaon HaRav Yitzchak Tuvia Weiss Shlita is traveling to Yavne today, Sunday, 14 Iyar 5772 with dozens of chassidim to protest continued construction at a location that Asra Kadisha has determined compromises kevarim. The controversial location is an Israel Railways construction site.

The pashkavilim in Meah Shearim call to “Halt the robbery!” referring to the kevarim.  “It is unconscionable that kivrei yisrael are dumped to the trash to accommodate Israel Railways” they read, calling on the tzibur to accompany the Gavaad to protest.

The Yavne protest was coordinated in advance with police and buses departed early morning from Yerushalayim, Beit Shemesh, Bnei Brak and Modi’in Illit.
