Bin Laden wrote in 2010 that Al Qaeda should send a propaganda video to an impartial U.S. television station – and suggested the home of “60 Minutes.”
“We should also look for an American channel that can be close to being unbiased, such as CBS, or other channel that has political motives that make it interested in broadcasting the point of view of al Mujahadin,” Bin Laden wrote in one of the letters uncovered in the raid that killed him.
But one of his top aides, American-born Adam Gadahn, raged against coverage of the terror group on U.S. television.
Gadahn believed that several of the American networks, in particular CNN, were “in cooperation with the government” — and saved much of his scorn for Fox News.
“ are all on one level except channel which falls into the abyss as you know, and lacks neutrality too,” Gadahn wrote in late 2010.
Gadahn also suggested that when Al Qaeda sent out a video to mark the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks, it should ignore Fox and “let her die in her anger.”
However, he also praised some of the networks, saying ABC “is all right; actually it could be one of the best channels, as far as we are concerned.”
And Gadahn, who is still at large, said he used to feel that MSNBC was “good and neutral” but expressed concern that it fired Keith Olbermann.
Bin Laden was killed before he could record an anniversary message. Al Qaeda later only released a Sept. 11-themed video on a jihadist website.

I think it would be ok to assume that anyone that Al Qaeda likes is obviously more tolerant to terrorism. Fox News may be a little dumb some times, but at least they hold onto some basic human morals.
How could this be a true story when Bin Laden didn’t even know English, and certainly would not have cared about the media of his enemy?? As most of these types of anecdotal stories, this one makes no sense.
#2, who told you that he didn’t know English? And he certainly did care about his enemy’s media, as these letters prove. Why on earth would you imagine that he wouldn’t care? What kind of general doesn’t care about the enemy’s propaganda?
2. What makes you think he didnt know english??? Just because he sat with a sheet over his head and screamed in arabic? Big deal. All that means is he was talking to his wacko nutjob people.
