MK Talab el-Sana responded to talk of bills that will demand all citizens of the state serve in the IDF or alternatively, in the form of national service. The Druse MK explained the current Knesset hosted “an unprecedented number of racist bills” adding “I do not have any faith in the current administration and its policies”.
He feels a bill to compel citizens to serve is a “non-starter”, and he and his colleagues, referring to the Arab MKs oppose such a move, which would simply fail nonetheless since citizens would not comply.
He is confident that if such a bill were to pass into law, the result would be civilian rebellion, stating with certainty the law would not compel those unwilling to serve to change their outlook. “We will call upon Arab citizens not to comply with such a law” he concluded.

This is crazy, to give wepons to the enemy, to train the enemy, and let the enemy walk with you into the batle. They would shout you in the back. This is a sakona. This crazy idea should be stopped.
Aouman, AFAIK arabs can volunteer now and get weapons, training etc… I presume that what the bill sponsors have in mind is for most arabs to do some type of national service that is not military in nature.
#3- most of the Arabs they would be drafting could be counted on the open fire on the groups that Israeli “elite” consider to be their most fearsome enemies: the Hareidim and the Settlers.
