IDF soldiers operating in Shomron on Shabbos prevented yet another terror attack, apprehending Arab terrorists at the Chawarah Checkpoint near Tapuach Junction with two explosive devices. The explosive devices were neutralized by bomb-demolition technicians without incident.

The suspects were taken into custody and handed over to security authorities for interrogation.

In addition, soldiers on Shabbos arrested other terrorists in the Shechem district, a bit north of Chawarah, who were carrying makeshift weapons and two firebombs.
