First Kosher Tapas in Manhattan – Upscale Latin Cuisine (OU)

What are you doing this Motzei Shabbos?

Washing the dishes? Re-reading the magazines on your coffee table that you have already read twice over Shabbos? Or perhaps browsing the YWN website, waiting for some exciting news to happen…

Well, ladies and gentlemen, hold onto your sombreros! We’re about to take you for a wild ride to the heart of Manhattan…but this time, we’re goin’ Mexican-style!!

Ladino Tapas Bar & Grill has brought the best in Mexican kosher food and entertainment all the way to NYC. Saturday nights are fun and exciting at Ladino Tapas Bar & Grill with live music as well as hand rolled cigars. The exotic tastes of South America are presented on a large menu featuring the most interesting and mouthwatering Mexican dishes. You can start off with one of their savory appetizers known as “tapas”, try one of Ladino’s Mexican-style soups, and then enjoy a succulent main dish, known as a “Plato Fuerte”. Oh, and if you haven’t paid too much attention during your Spanish classes in high school, there’s no need to worry. Ladino Tapas Bar & Grill’s attractive menu states each item with its proper Spanish title as well as an English description directly below.

Ladino Tapas Bar & Grill is directed by Alexandre Petard (the extraordinary opening chef at the late, lamented, La Carne Grill), who has worked at some of New York’s exceptional restaraunts, such as Jean Georges, Lespinasse, and Les Halles. Petard, a French chef, partnered up with general manager Brad RaZvan, to create a restaurant that features the freshest, finest Mexican cuisine. To ensure high quality and taste, everything at Ladino is made from scratch. This includes their famous guacamole, yucca fries, and even their homemade ice cream! Some of Ladino’s most popular dishes are Ceviche de Salmon, a juicy salmon with a mango, tomato, cilantro, and spicy vinaigrette, Pincho Moreno, a set of hot chicken and beef skewers served with a delicious house mayonnaise, and Steak a la Cazuela. This dish, a carnivore’s heaven, is a steaming hot, cast iron pan filled with succulent steak pieces topped with mixed peppers, onions, and mushrooms. The creamy scoop of guacamole crowning this steak dish adds delicious flavor and texture (Not your run of the mill burger and fries-eh?). In terms of beverages, you have plenty to look forward to. Cocktails, frozen margaritas, mojitos, and flavorful wines, are available at Ladino’s to enhance the delicious food on your plate.

Although your mouth is watering, and you are already typing Ladino’s address into your GPS, take a quick look at their website to see the beautiful pictures and reviews of this unique, Mexican, kosher grill and bar!

Get ready for a real fiesta, at Ladino Tapas Bar & Grill!
