The tri-state’s dry streak is expected to end this weekend with storms that could deliver as much as 5 inches of rain in isolated areas.
Most of the area will see 1 to 3 inches, but some minor coastal flooding is possible Sunday night.
Saturday is expected to stay dry during daytime hours, with showers and storms starting in the evening into the night. The high is expected around 71.
Sunday morning will see light rain, becoming heavier in the evening, with gusty winds and cooler temps in the 60s. The showers are expected to taper Monday morning.
