According to a report released by Globe’s Financial, chareidi businessman Menachem Gavrir is in trouble, and as a result, some of his “Sheshet”, “Kfar ShaShu’im”, and HaKol B’Dollar” stores must be shut down. He closed 24 stores nationwide this week, which includes 15 branches of the Kfar ShaShu’im toy stores. Gavrir operates the stores in Jerusalem, Betar Illit and Maale Adumim as well as two stores in Bnei Brak and one in Lod.
The report states Gavrir owes the parent company 12-13 million NIS.

We know Menachem personally. It is clear to all of us that know him that he went bankrupt from the loads and loads of tzedaka he gave; which will earn him a lot of schar. he was like a man that fulfilled his childhood dream that “one day when I’ll have money I’ll do …. and give tons of tzedaka” Unbelievable how many pple he helped. His heart is so huge and his goodness has no limits. It is never pleasant and always so hard to fall from grace like this but one thing’s for sure he gained a lot a lot of friends and admirers and most of all a tremendous amount of zchusim. May hashem help him in all his future endeavors and all those he helped.

Let me correct you with what I learned from Rav Meir kahane. The word Tzedaka is translated as charity in dictionaries. And the concept of charity according to the goyim is someone who gives away his money making no difference to a person that needs a heart transplant or a home for homeless cats. Rav kahane said that is the translation but not the meaning. The real meaning is righteousness. And a person is righteous when they do what the torah says not what they want in the name of the torah. One of the laws of the torah is not to give more than 20 percent. And as a result of his giving more than 20 percent many people are going to lose their jobs or have already done so. Anotehr thing that i learned from Rav Kahane was the meaning of hillel hashem is not a big sin but rather putting G-d in space which is done when a person performs his or her mitzvot because I feel or I think in this case I feel that I just have to give so much charity. Even in his good days did Menachim support the ENTIRE jewish world? Obviously no, so even then he was saying no to people. And now people are going to lose their jobs which is his responisbility
