In an address on Tuesday, 25 Nissan 5772 in Ottawa Canada, MK Dr. Ahmed Tibi called for a boycott of “settlements and settlements products”, referring to the yishuvim throughout Yehuda and Shomron as a “cancerous growth”.
Tibi stressed he is calling for a non-violent action, to simply boycott all good manufactured in settlements. He called on the government of Canada to cancel plans to integrate settlement products and to make the differentiation – to boycott those goods originating in yishuvim.
When asked to explain his policy, which is a violation of Israeli law, the MK stated “I am simply acting on my conscience and speaking out against an illegitimate law that seeks to prevent an elected official from expressing a legitimate viewpoint”.
HaMevaser adds that last summer; the Knesset passed the Boycott Law which makes it a criminal offense to call for an economic, cultural or academic boycott on areas in Yehuda, Shomron or inside Green Line Israel.
It is likely that upon his return to Israel, the Knesset will vote to determine if they will strip Tibi of his parliamentary immunity to stand trial for his actions.

None of the Muslims recognize a distinction between pre-1948 and post-1948 settlements. The distinction is totally artificial. The Muslims will not make peace unless the status quo is returned to what it was pre-1914 (at least to the extent of Muslims controlling the government). The inability of the Israelis to realize means that they’ve been running around like a headless chicken.
