Since Motzei Shabbos Parshas Ki Sissa (21 Adar), YWN has posted eight articles dealing with the Peleg Yerushalmi protests. I guess we could be excused if some of us readers get the feeling that YWN is projecting an opinion on these protests. Perhaps expressing such an opinion is legit, perhaps not. Trying to shape readers opinion on the matter surely is not. The function of the media is to report the news without trying to insinuate one opinion or another. But then, that has not generally been YWN’s attitude on news reporting, has it?
They’re also causing 30 minute back-ups up to Hashmonayim, on the way to Modi’in Illit, for about 5 days running. So, so much bitul Torah is caused as well as chillul HaShem!!!
Why didn’t Peleg request a draft deferment like the rest of the B’nei Torah?? Cut down eitz.

However, the majority of chareidim from Klal Yisrael which consists of other Litvishe crowd, as well as, chassidim and Sefardim do not follow these 2 Gedolim, and their Gedolim have the same legitimate authority to dictate their views as they see it and are not obligated to the 2 Gedolim you mentioned and don’t need their approval.
