Hours after border police and Yassam commando forces evicted Jews from the Machpelah House in Hebron, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu released a message to the press that he is driven by his conviction to strengthen Jewish communities throughout Yehuda and Shomron, adding he just gave the order to take the necessary steps to legalize Bruchin, Sansina and Rechalim in addition to instructing the attorney general to make certain that the Ulpana neighborhood in Beit El is not destroyed as planned.
The prime minister also mentioned his administration’s commitment to Hebron, acknowledging our historical right and obligations to the holy city, stating he will continue to do everything possible towards protecting the city while obeying the law.
