HaGaon HaRav Chaim Kanievsky Shlita in a letter seeking to console the Shear family following the tragic blaze the gadol hador simply writes “we don’t understand HaKadosh Baruch Hu’s cheshbonos”.

Six members of the Rechovot family perished in the blaze R”L, including Guy Shear (38) and his children Eliav (11), Evyatar (8), Amitai (7), Shira (3), and Itamar (1) z”l.

The rav instructed the family to strengthen limud Torah as much as possible.

The rav’s daughter, Rebitzen Koldotzki made a shiva visit and delivered words of nechama from the gadol hador along with her own words of chizuk.
