A memorial will be held on Monday, 3 Nissan 5772 in Yeshivat Ohr Baruch in Bayit Vegan for R’ Yonatan Sandler HY”D and his boys Gavriel and Aryeh HY”D as well as for Miriam Monsonego HY”D. The event is scheduled to get underway at 17:30 with the participation of Tel Aviv Chief Rabbi Yisrael Meir Lau Shlita and HaRav Moshe Shapira.
According to a Chadrei Chareidim report, on Wednesday, 5 Nissan, Mrs. Sandler and her daughter will return to France to spend yomtov with family. She plans to return to Eretz Yisrael a number of weeks after yomtov.
Family members admit that for now this is the plan but due to the sensitive nature of the issues at hand, there may be changes and Mrs. Sandler may in fact remain in France with other family members. The plan is however to return to Eretz Yisrael.
Yaakov Monsonego, who daughter Miriam, 8, was murdered, will be returning home as well immediately after yom tov. He is the principal of the Otzar HaTorah Yeshiva where the deadly attack occurred and while his emotional state is a difficult one, he wishes to be back at home for his students when they return to classes after yomtov.
