In Yeshivas Torah Ohr in Yerushalayim, a round-the-clock Tehillim vigil has been underway as the tzibur is being mispallel for HaGaon HaRav Chaim Pinchos Sheinberg Shlita.
Reports from Shaare Zedek Medical Center indicate the rav was admitted shortly before Shabbos. His condition has since deteriorated, apparently due to a systemic infection.
HaGaon HaRav Chaim Pinchos Sheinberg Shlita, 101, is also the rav of the Kiryas Mattersdorf neighborhood of Yerushalayim.
The tzibur is requested to daven for HaRav Chaim Pinchos ben Yosefa for a refuah shleima b’soch kol cholei am yisrael.

Is Yeshiva Shaarei Chaim [other Yeshiva under his jurisdiction] also holding special Tefila session/vigil?
Please correct the Rosh Yeshiva’s Mother’s name to Yospa. PLEASE DAVEN FOR HARAV CHAIM PINCHAS b-n YOSPA
The correct pronunciation of his mother’s name is Yospah, although it is spelled like yosefa. Also, if you are saying tehillim for the initials of his name, he spells Pinchas with a Yud. I am a reliable source for this information as I am a 26 year veteran of Yeshivas Torah Ore. May Hashem answer our tefilos.
Yospa is correct. Yes, Yeshiva Shaare Chaim joined yeshiva Torah Ore in the main BM for tehillim. A tehillim session was held at 9:30, 12:30 and again right after minchah. Keep davening.
