B’chasdei Hashem Kol Chai Radio reports at 14:00 that the procedure performed on Maran Posek HaDor HaGaon HaRav Yosef Sholom Elyashiv Shlita due to his failing kidney output was successful. The report adds the procedure will have to be repeated a number of times in the coming days. There were no other details released pertaining to the actual procedure carried out earlier today, Monday, 18 Adar 5772.

The rav is still listed in critical condition and the tzibur is requested to continue being mispallel for Rav Yosef Sholom ben Chaya Musha b’soch kol cholei am yisrael.
