A search involving hundreds of soldiers, officials and volunteers is underway in Israel after a 19-year-old Israel Air Force cadet, who is in pilot’s training, disappeared. The soldier, Eshel Silberstein lives in the Sharon region, was last seen leaving his home on motzei Shabbos, March 3, 2012, heading for his base in southern Israel. The soldier never arrived.
Choppers are involved in the search along with K-9 units, ground forces and other specialized units.

to #1 absolutely! however would it not be nice to remember hbh without “needing” him such as before he dissappeared. like with gilad shalit where we only mention hashem when looking for a physical yeshua but as soon as we have it we are back to all the nonsense
