The Nadvorna Rebbe’s ZT”L will states the rebbe’s eldest son will assume the leadership role of the chassidus. According to Chadrei Chareidim, the rebbe began writing the will on 28 Elul 5771 and completed it on 7 Shevat 5772. Copies of the will were distributed among members of the chassidus, with portions dealing with personal family matters blacked out.
“The will is clear” explain elders in the chassidus, “eliminating doubt and room for machlokes”. As such, Rav Eliezer Ze’ev Shlita will assume the leadership post, taking the place of his late father. The mosdos of the chassidus in Bnei Brak will be under the new rebbe’s responsibility, Rav Eliezer Ze’ev, as will mosdos established in the future.
Regarding the beis medrash and tefilos, the rebbe writes that no changes should be made under the new leadership.
Regarding the remaining mosdos, in Yerushalayim, Elad and Betar Illit as follows; The rebbe’s son HaRav HaTzaddik Meir Yitzchak Isaac will be in charge of Yerushalayim, in Betar, HaRav HaTzaddik Asher Yishaiya, and Elad, HaRav HaTzaddik Yosef Naftoli.
“Regarding the other sons, HaRav HaTzaddik Rav Yisrael, Rav Aaron Dovid and Rav Shmuel Shmelka, I do not have a task at present. But certainly, each will find his appropriate spot and lead the chassidus”.
“Regarding the Nadvorna Yeshiva, no new yeshivos should be established for at least five years from my petira. Make certain the yeshiva continues to thrive and grow and the number of talmidim should not decrease”.

Beautiful, simple, clear and to the point. Every Rebbe & Rosh Yeshiva knows that there will eventually come a time when he will have to pass on the leadership to someone. With such a will you can avoid much machlokes among family members chasidim & talmidim.
The minhag in Nadvorna is that all sons become Rebbes of their own chassidus as was the will of Reb Mordechai of Nadvorna zya – it was smart to ask for a five year wait to make a yeshivah – wonder what names the other rebbes will take
