A 28-year-old man has been arrested and charged with the theft of items from a Queens Shul.

Police say the man, a resident of Queens, was arrested Tuesday and charged with burglary, grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property.

Police say the theft occurred at the Congregation Degel Israel in Kew Gardens Hills. The stolen items were three silver Torah crowns, two silver Torah mini crowns, three silver Torah breastplates, four silver Torah pointers and one silver cup.

Police say everything but two silver Torah pointers were recovered.

Police say the theft occurred sometime between Feb. 18 and last Shabbos.

It was not immediately known if the suspect had a lawyer.
