The Yisrael HaYom daily reports on a most unique way that some motorists are combating the alarming increase of carjackings in Yehuda and Shomron, usually targeting female motorists alone in a vehicle. At least one driver is heading out onto the road accompanied by a mannequin seated alongside her dressed in an IDF uniform.
Esti Yaniv of Yishuv Har Bracha appears to have started the new concept, explaining the mannequin was on display where she works and she asked her employer if she could borrow it. She dressed it in her husband’s IDF uniform and sat it at her side. Now she explains she feels significantly safer driving alone.
Authorities report there have been eight carjackings in Yehuda and Shomron during the past two weeks. In the carjacking that occurred near Anatot, authorities report the female driver is a policewoman.

Good idea. A few heartfelt kapitlach Tehillim would be appropriate as well. Perhaps this ordeal is an opportunity to enhance their emunah.

The idea in the article is not a bad one, and YOUR idea is certainly a very good one.
Another excellent idea would be to have a loaded weapon on the seat next to you, and the training to use it effectively.
