Following an urgent request for Tehillim Wednesday afternoon, YWN has been informed that the situation by the Rosh Hayeshiva overnight was stable. His health condition remains critical and people should continue being Mispallel for “Chaim” Yisroel ben Chana Tzirel.

The talmidim of the Yeshiva in Eretz Yisroel are planning to gather together Friday morning Rosh Chodesh Adar at 9:15am at the Kosel HaMaaravi to say תהלים בציבור for a refuah for the Rosh Hayeshiva. Please notify any of your family in Eretz Yisroel who could possibly join them. The S’gan Menahel, Rav Efraim Glassman is in Eretz Yisroel at this time and will be there אי”ה to organize the Kinnus.

Rabbi Belsky, who is the Rosh Yeshiva of Torah Vodaath in Flatbush, and one of the major Poskim in America, was rushed to the hospital by Hatzolah two weeks ago, after first suffering from a ruptured esophagus, and a collapsed lung. He also went into cardiac arrest while in the hospital, and has since undergone a few procedures.

FlatbushScoop.com is reporting that there will be  an urgent Kinus Tehillim on behalf of Rabbi Yisroel Belsky, tonight, Thursday, the first of Adar, at Agudas Yisroel Bais Binyomin (Agudah of Avenue L). Ma’ariv at 9:30PM, Kinus at 9:45PM. Prior to Tehillim, Rabbi Moshe Tuvia Lieff, Shlita and Rabbi Yisroel Reisman, Shlita, will give Divrei Hisorirus. All are urged to attend, and to please pass on the word to others.
