7:00PM EST: We have been informed that the situation with HaRav Yisroel Belsky Shlita has been somewhat stabilized for now. The doctors are very concerned, and the next 24 hours are critical.
Please continue to be mispallel for Yisroel ben Chana Tzirel, as much as possible.
The family requests that everyone should refrain from coming to the hospital.
5:30PM EST: The condition of HaRav Yisroel Belsky Shlita has turned critical, sources tell YWN.
Rabbi Belsky, who is the Rosh Yeshiva of Torah Vodaath in Flatbush, and one of the major Poskim in America, was rushed to the hospital by Hatzolah two weeks ago, after first suffering from a ruptured esophagus, and a collapsed lung. He also went into cardiac arrest while in the hospital, and has since undergone a few procedures.
