While negotiators have been meeting through the night and continuing talks at this hour, the nationwide general strike continues this morning, Thursday, February 09, 2012, day two. This means Ben-Gurion International Airport is closed again, for six hours, until noon.

Once again government agencies will be closed nationwide, state hospitals will operate on a Shabbos schedule which results in the cancelation of elective surgeries and outpatient clinics. Many other services are closed and canceled as well.
