An Egged bus driver found guilty of causing the deaths of five people and injuring 50 others was sentenced to 54 months imprisonment by a court on Monday morning, January 23, 2012. In addition, the 26-year-old’s drivers license was suspended for 20 years.
Hajat Ganum was found guilty of five counts of negligent manslaughter by a Lod traffic court, as well as being responsible for the injuries to others, all due to his reckless driving.
