Newt Gingrich said that a threat from ex-Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) to disclose information she learned while serving on an ethics committee investigating him during his time as Speaker of the House would “totally abuse the ethics process” and violate rules of the House of Representatives.
“I want to thank Speaker Pelosi for what I regard as an early X-Mas gift,” Gingrich said at a press conference in Manhattan Monday.
Gingrich denounced the threat from Pelosi, who is now the minority leader in the House, as “a fundamental violation of the rules of the House,” and said that if Pelosi were to disclose details of the investigation, it would expose the “tainted ethics process the House was engaged in.” He also called for the House to condemn Pelosi if she were to reveal anything from the ethics probe.

They should both shut up and get back to work – and real issues. Everyone knows about Gingrich’s dubious background (he claims he has repented). Cain has a problem because he ran on a platform of always having been loyal to his wife, and lost since he couldn’t disprove (the dubious) charges. Gingrich claims to be a repented sinner, so the worse the sin, the greater the repentence. Gingrich is appealing for the “tseuvah” vote. Anything Pelosi found from an official probe is ancient history since Gingrich was chased from office 13 years ago.
This is the oldest thing in politics. Always was and always will be exposing the other party. As they say if can’t take the heat get out of the kitchen.
Don’t the Democrats have better things to do ? I am sure they have big closets which eventually will be opened as well. Get back to work and fix the things that need to be fixed in this country and stop wasting taxpayer dollars.
He has a point. She is EVIL!
