The Toldos Avraham Yitzchak Rebbe Shlita traveled to North America on a fundraising mission. Last Sunday, the Admor was scheduled to travel from Canada to New York City to attend fundraising functions. There he continued efforts to enlist funds for his mosdos. The Rebbe planned four Shabosim in NYC and then head home to Yerushalayim.

The Admor has cellulitis in a leg, and it appears that as a result, a vessel in his leg ruptured and he was taken to a hospital. He was diagnosed having a severe infection in a leg and required urgent intravenous antibiotic therapy.

The doctors are divided in their diagnosis, with some of the opinion the Rebbe can continue with his trip while others are less anxious to release him. A decision is expected in the coming days.

The tzibur is requested to daven for Shmuel Yaakov ben Yenta for a refuah shleima b’soch cholei yisrael.
