Highly credible sources tell YWN that the assault in Williamsburg this past Shabbos was not a bias attack. Although the NYPD has yet to release any information regarding this incident, our sources tell us that this is not a case of anti-semitism at all.

The victim was assaulted by his attacker on Ross Street and Bedford Avenue at 8:30PM Friday night, while another two people waited for the attacker on the corner.

Our sources tell us that the attacker never mentioned anything about Jews during the assault.

The victim suffered a broken nose, and was taken by Williamsburg Hatzolah to the hospital.

He has since been released, and is recovering from his injuries at home.
