Marking the end of the shloshim for Rebitzen Batsheva Esther Kanievsky A”H, a Asifa for chizuk will be held on motzei Shabbos, and event that will be broadcast in live time via satellite to many areas nationwide.

The organizers of the event visited with HaGaon HaRav Chaim Kanievsky Shlita to obtain his bracha for the event. The Rav was quite pleased, the daily HaMevaser reports, quoting him as saying “This is a big zchus; that so many women will gather together towards receiving a chizuk and to daven”.

The Rav added, “This is a big mitzvah, and G-d willing, the Kinnos will be beneficial for many”.

The Kinnos is being held on the 10th yahrzeit of Maran HaGaon HaRav Elazar Menachem Mann Shach ZT”L, and the event will also mention the Posek HaDor’s yahrzeit. The main speaker will be a son of the nifteres, HaRav Shlomo Kanievsky Shlita, Rosh Yeshivas Kiryas HaMelech.

A special presentation will be shown as well, revealing the life of the nifteres, including interviews with family members.
