With a nationwide strike possible, set to begin on Monday morning, November 7, 2011 at 6:00am, El Al Israel announces a number of flight changes.
All flights scheduled to leave Tel Aviv’s Ben-Gurion International Airport until 7:30am will leave on schedule. A number of flights are being moved up to avoid having additional stranded passengers since the airport will by shut down during the strike.
This includes flights to European destinations and the United States. Passengers are urged to phone 03-971-6606 for information.
Passengers on all flights, especially those who flights are moved up, are requested to arrive at the airport four hours ahead of departure.
The National Labor Court is hearing a petition to issue an injunction to prevent the strike; a decision is expected later in the night Israel time.
