The mora d’asra of Modi’in Illit, HaGaon HaRav Meir Kessler Shlita has been admitted to Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer, in Tel Aviv, after suffering a heart attack. The rav is 55 and it is reported that “of late, he did not feel well”.
On motzei Shabbos the rav hurried to the local Terem, a private emergency room facility located in Modi’in. Doctors at Terem determined the rav suffered a myocardial infarction and he was transported to the hospital in a paramedic advanced life support ambulance.
After conducting a number of routine tests in the cardiac intensive care unit, it was determined that the rav would be undergoing a cardiac catheterization. The tzibur is called upon to daven on behalf of Rav Meir ben Tova for a refuah shleima b’soch shar cholei yisroel.
