Doctors in Tel Hashomer Hospital on erev Shabbos expressed satisfaction over the condition of HaGaon HaRav Gershon Edelstein Shlita after undergoing a cardiac catheterization procedure, apparently necessitated following a mild “cardiac incident”.

Professor Har Zahav, the Rosh Yeshiva’s attending physician, explained he is satisfied with the his condition following the medical procedure. Aides to the Rosh Yeshiva report he is felling well.

Among the visitors was Deputy Health Minister Rav Yaakov Litzman.

The Ponevezh rosh yeshiva was transported to the hospital by paramedics last week after complaining of not feeling well.

The tzibur is requested to daven for Rav Yerachmiel Gershon ben Miriam for a refuah shleima b’soch shar cholei  yisrael.
