Sirens were heard in a number of southern areas a short time ago. One rocket landed near Lahavim while mortar shells impacted in an open area inside the Shar HaNegev Regional Council. Baruch Hashem there are no reports of injuries or damage. It would appear terrorists have decided to ignore the agreed-upon ceasefire that was to have begun at 6:00am.
Addressing the renewed warfare in the south, IDF spokesman Brigadier-General Yoav Mordechai stated on motzei Shabbos that at this stage, one cannot know how long the renewed warfare will continue.
